MAY 2005
Jeremy and Shannon first met at Pappa's Pizza in Addison. Shannon ventured down from Denton where she was attending the University of North Texas to visit with Kim and Lauren (high school friends). The 3 of them took off into the night to meet some friends of Kim's. The group sat around the tables, talking non-sense. Jeremy arrived after the girls and sat at the opposite end of the table. Jeremy claims the only words Shannon said all night long were "Bye" when she was leaving for the night. Little did they know, the following month they would meet again.
JUNE 26, 2005
Shannon, once again, visiting from Denton went with Kim and Lauren to meet the same group of friends. The girls headed to Big Matt's House and would then join the party at the Home Bar near SMU. Big Matt re-introduced Jeremy to Shannon; at one point during the night, Jeremy even introduced Shannon as his wife to one of his friends. He began the night buying her drinks, but eventually ran out of money. The tables turned; and Shannon started buying him the drinks. Jeremy gave Shannon a ride home that night, and they've been together ever since.
JUNE 2005 - FEBRUARY 2011
Move-in together and live in an apartment in Richardson.
Go on vacation together to Miami.
Add a dog - Sophie - to the family.
Move to a house in Garland.
Buy several Mustangs, eventually settling on 2 - 2011 Mustangs.
FEBRUARY 26, 2011
Shannon's 26th Birthday. They started the day like any other Saturday, sleeping till 11 o'clock. Jeremy let Shannon pick what she wanted to do for the day, and after much debating they went to Freebirds for lunch. It was a little chilly that day, but when getting out of the car Jeremy took his jacket off and set it on the driver's seat. She learned later, he did this because the ring had fallen out of his pocket into the seat. When dinner came around, they went to their favorite Mexican Restaurant - Enchilada's on Greenville.

At the end of dinner, Shannon went to the restroom and that's when Jeremy got the ring out of his pocket and put it in his hands. They walked to the car and before driving off Shannon made a comment, "Well that would mean we would have to get married." And Jeremy said, "Why don't we?" And he opened his hand and gave her the ring.
Shannon didn't have much to say other than "Seriously!" "For real!" oh and "YES!!!!"
The happy news spread quickly. They both called their parents, sent text messages; and Jeremy's best man, Lance came over and we had a celebratory shot of Tequila!
Jeremy and Shannon will be married June 15, 2012 - 3 days after her parent's 30th Wedding Anniversary and 11 days before their own 7 year Dating Anniversary.
